Jessica Corral

Managing Partner

Jessica Corral is a Partner and Founder at headfarmer, bringing over 20 years of recruiting experience. She started her career in New York City recruiting for Wall Street professionals. In 2000, she moved to Phoenix where she spent seven years working for one of the largest Accounting and Finance recruiting firms in the nation. She co-founded headfarmer in July of 2011 and thus began the mission to exceed recruiting industry standards and focus on how to be of genuine service to people.

Jessica is passionate about giving back to the community and making a difference. She has chaired local non-profit board positions, is always donating her time to helping people both personally and professionally, and enjoys expanding her network by building relationships with quality people who also put service ahead of all personal goals.  She has served as a trusted advisor to major employers and leaders in the greater phoenix metropolitan area….and she LOVES every minute of it.

Eric Ryan

Managing Partner

Eric Ryan is a Partner and Founder at headfarmer, bringing over 16 years of Accounting and Financial recruiting experience.  Eric grew up in Phoenix, graduated from ASU, and has focused his career on helping professionals and organizations navigate the many facets of the local employment market.

Prior to co-founding headfarmer, Eric spent 10 years working for one of the largest Accounting and Finance recruiting firms in the nation. He also spent a year working as a Corporate Recruiter for a national Audit/Tax consulting firm. This role allowed him the opportunity to work with internal stakeholders and to understand the challenges that companies face when trying to build a strong workforce.

Eric has differentiated himself in the industry by taking on the responsibility of being a career coach and by helping people find the right job, regardless of financial gain. Eric’s willingness to go out of his way to help anyone is one of the foundations of the headfarmer philosophy.

David Bolar

Managing Director, Finance

After graduating with an Accounting degree at Kansas State University and obtaining his CPA, Dave worked in public accounting and the private sector for seven years.  While working as an Auditor, he received a call from a recruiter to give a reference for a colleague that was moving on to new opportunities; Dave had a lightbulb moment that you can actually have a career helping others to find that perfect job.

Intrigued by the recruiting process and understanding the needs of a candidate and client, he viewed the matching process as a satisfying puzzle to complete.  Through detailed discussions with clients and candidates, he discovered you could understand what made the two come together as a perfect fit.

After the switch from his career in Accounting, Dave worked with a large national staffing firm as an Executive Recruiter and Perm Division Director.  In 2013, he joined headfarmer as Managing Director for Accounting and Finance and the lightbulb still burns bright.

Originally from Kansas, Dave moved to Arizona in 1993, where he quickly met his wife, Kristen.  Married for 20 years, he has two wonderful kids (Sam and Annalie).  He likes to spend his free time with family going to club volleyball or club swim meets and occasionally has the opportunity to golf, fly fish, or explore and hike here in the southwest.

Daja Austin

Recruiting Coordinator

From the small town of Pinetop, AZ, Daja loves to talk to anyone and everyone! Growing up, her mom was an Executive Recruiter and Daja loved watching her interact with so many people. She decided from a young age that recruiting would be her career.

Daja came to headfarmer in June 2016 looking for an opportunity to join the recruiting world. She loved headfarmer and the diverse experiences they bring to their network. She joined the company as an Administrative Coordinator to learn the industry while attending school. After obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Northern Arizona University, she moved into a recruiting coordinator role. Now she gets to talk all day and do something she loves – help others.

Outside of work, Daja loves catching baseball games, traveling (especially to Disneyland), and spending time with her better half, Cory, and their three dogs.

Tiffany Barela

Staffing Manager

Tiffany joined the headfarmer team as the Recruiting Coordinator in June of 2015 and quickly became a Staffing Manager. Born in Phoenix, she was a sophomore in high school when she moved to Michigan with her family. She spent the next eight years in the Midwest before returning to the Valley of the Sun after college. Majoring in Advertising and Promotion at Western Michigan University, she also fell in love with Psychology. She realized she loved learning about people and declared that as her minor.

The hospitality industry also served her well during college and post-graduation she took a career path that allowed her to become an assistant manager at a local restaurant. Once Tiffany reached her peak within the organization, she put her Advertising background to work with one of the biggest internet advertising companies. However, she realized she missed working directly with people and being face-to-face like she once was when she was in hospitality.

Building rapport with someone through conversation was something she knew she needed to be able to do every day. That passion has now guided her into the recruiting industry and she’s excited to build relationships and grow her network. She’s always keeping the end goal in mind, which is helping to impact someone’s life while adding value to the recruiting process. Some of her interests outside of work include attending local sporting events and spending time with her family and her 12-year-old sister.

Jodi Cohen

Executive Recruiter, Technology

Jodi loves working with people. She enjoys learning about where someone came from, how they got where they are and where they are looking to go next. She was born and raised in Irvine, CA and fell in love with Arizona when she attended the University of Arizona in Tucson. She graduated with her BS Business Management.

Jodi began recruiting after graduation in 1998. Her older brother was a recruiter and thought it would be perfect for her. She worked in tech recruiting in Newport Beach, CA and later ran a team in Atlanta, GA. She returned to Orange County, CA and recruited in the Tech and Advertising and Cyber Security Industries. In addition to working with people, Jodi loves learning about what different companies do. She loves being to exposed to businesses that she would not know of otherwise.

When Jodi is not recruiting, she spends her time with her husband and two children. You can often find her hiking Camelback or cooking.

Allison Davie

Executive Recruiter, Finance

Allison Davie has been with headfarmer since May of 2014. She was attracted to recruiting because she wanted the opportunity to make an impact in others’ lives. She gets that at headfarmer! With an emphasis on the permanent placement of Finance and Accounting professionals, her focus is on building relationships so that as clients’ staffing needs arise, she can present top talent.

She is originally from Indiana and went to school at Baylor University in Texas, majoring in Finance and Sports, Sponsorship, and Sales. Allison has a varied working background. Most recently as a Strategic Forecast Analyst at US Airways, she worked to identify flight data trends in order to better forecast passenger demand for future flights. Prior to that, she worked as an Account Executive at the Phoenix Suns, selling premium seats, suites, and season tickets, with a primary focus in coordinating group events through the sale of group tickets.

Outside of the office, Allison loves to get out and enjoy the sunshine, riding beach cruisers around Central Phoenix. She loves to travel, no matter if it’s a quick weekend camping trip, across the Atlantic, or to visit family. All that said, her favorite activities are singing, reading a good book, and hanging out with her husband, Ian.

Pinal Patel

Assistant Manager of Accounting/Operations

A newbie to headfarmer, but certainly not a newbie to numbers game, Pinal brings half a dozen years of accounting experience to the table. She holds Bachelors in Accounting and a Master’s in Business Administration. Having worked as an accountant in diverse fields ranging from financial services to health, Pinal has obtained an excellent grasp on A/P, A/R, and financial reconciliations.

Born in the land of spices (India) and raised in diner capital of the world (New Jersey), it is no wonder Pinal is an avid cook. During weekends she indulges in the culinary arts along with her tech geek better half, Shreyas, who can match her stride to stride in the kitchen.

Bianca Schloegel

Office Coordinator

Bianca is a dedicated Arizona native! Being new on board with headfarmer, she brings extensive experience in customer service. She has worked the past four years as a manager of a local gym and knows what it take to get the job done right. Bianca really has a passion for helping people. When Headfarmer had an open position, she knew that was the company she wanted to be a part of.

Outside of the office, Bianca loves to stay active outdoors whether it’s hiking or staying cool by the pool. She is currently perusing her bachelor’s degree while learning all she can at headfarmer!

Neil Shah

Executive Recruiter, Technology

Neil is a geek. With a background in tech, he brings to headfarmer his unique blend of awkward humor, tech savvy, and outgoing introversion, along with 8 years of recruiting experience. Born in San Diego and raised here in beautiful Scottsdale, AZ, Neil is a proud Sun Devil with a degree in Secondary Education.

After three years of pounding the pavement as an IBM field tech, Neil got his start in tech recruiting and has never looked back. He is focused on the long-term relationships and friendships he forms with candidates and clients alike. More than that, he gets to spend his entire day talking about all the fun new tech toys out there.

When he’s not nerding out with candidates, Neil is typically nerding out with his wife, Christine, or he is out at a movie or concert.  Neil also makes it a point to try to hit up every microbrewery within a 15 mile radius of where he is.

Matt Terrill

Sr. Business Development Manager

Matt is many things; father to a beautiful pit bull puppy, passionate golfer (although his handicap does not support this claim), avid snowboarder, and recruitment dilettante. Matt joins headfarmer as a Senior Business Development Manager. He brings four years of experience with a unique blend of Accounting / Finance and IT recruitment experience. Matt is an ASU alumnus (Go Devils!), where he was a member of the Delta Chi chapter.

He began recruiting after spending 3 years with a Fortune 500 hospitality company. That experience taught him the true benefit of a people first mindset approach to business. He began his career in staffing with a Global Fortune 500 company where he specialized in Accounting and Finance recruitment throughout the West Coast. From there, he moved into IT recruitment and spent 2 years focused on Technical Staffing in the Phoenix market.

When Matt’s not recruiting, you can find him on the golf course, snowboarding, or grabbing a pint at the local watering hole. He likes to live his personal and professional life with a simple motto. “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.”
