Jessica Corral is a Partner and Founder at headfarmer, bringing over 20 years of recruiting experience. She started her career in New York City recruiting for Wall Street professionals. In 2000, she moved to Phoenix where she spent seven years working for one of the largest Accounting and Finance recruiting firms in the nation. She co-founded headfarmer in July of 2011 and thus began the mission to exceed recruiting industry standards and focus on how to be of genuine service to people.
Jessica is passionate about giving back to the community and making a difference. She has chaired local non-profit board positions, is always donating her time to helping people both personally and professionally, and enjoys expanding her network by building relationships with quality people who also put service ahead of all personal goals. She has served as a trusted advisor to major employers and leaders in the greater phoenix metropolitan area….and she LOVES every minute of it.
Eric Ryan is a Partner and Founder at headfarmer, bringing over 16 years of Accounting and Financial recruiting experience. Eric grew up in Phoenix, graduated from ASU, and has focused his career on helping professionals and organizations navigate the many facets of the local employment market.
Prior to co-founding headfarmer, Eric spent 10 years working for one of the largest Accounting and Finance recruiting firms in the nation. He also spent a year working as a Corporate Recruiter for a national Audit/Tax consulting firm. This role allowed him the opportunity to work with internal stakeholders and to understand the challenges that companies face when trying to build a strong workforce.
Eric has differentiated himself in the industry by taking on the responsibility of being a career coach and by helping people find the right job, regardless of financial gain. Eric’s willingness to go out of his way to help anyone is one of the foundations of the headfarmer philosophy.
Managing Director, Finance
After graduating with an Accounting degree at Kansas State University and obtaining his CPA, Dave worked in public accounting and the private sector for seven years. While working as an Auditor, he received a call from a recruiter to give a reference for a colleague that was moving on to new opportunities; Dave had a lightbulb moment that you can actually have a career helping others to find that perfect job.
Intrigued by the recruiting process and understanding the needs of a candidate and client, he viewed the matching process as a satisfying puzzle to complete. Through detailed discussions with clients and candidates, he discovered you could understand what made the two come together as a perfect fit.
After the switch from his career in Accounting, Dave worked with a large national staffing firm as an Executive Recruiter and Perm Division Director. In 2013, he joined headfarmer as Managing Director for Accounting and Finance and the lightbulb still burns bright.
Originally from Kansas, Dave moved to Arizona in 1993, where he quickly met his wife, Kristen. Married for 20 years, he has two wonderful kids (Sam and Annalie). He likes to spend his free time with family going to club volleyball or club swim meets and occasionally has the opportunity to golf, fly fish, or explore and hike here in the southwest.
Managing Director, Technology
A born and bred Northeasterner, John headed west to the desert in 2005 to pursue a career in the golf industry. He quickly ascended through the ranks to manage one of North Scottsdale’s premier golf courses. Having long been interested in both Technology and Recruiting, John decided to make a career of it in 2014. His transition to Technical Recruiting was a seamless one, as he naturally repurposed his experience hearing and responding to the voice of his customer while striving to be the best in a highly competitive industry.
Since entering the recruiting world, John has immersed himself in the dynamic and rapidly evolving world of Technology, so as to create candidate-client relationships that are rewarding on both a personal and a professional level. Having served as a Sr. Technical Recruiter, Recruiting Manager, and National Account Manager, John has experience with every phase of the recruitment life-cycle and is devoted to both his clients and his job seekers. With extensive seasoning supporting time-sensitive projects, John is well prepared to execute Headfarmer’s detailed, consultative methodology, while helping clients meet deadlines, and stay on schedule.
John likes to spend most of his free time swimming or playing games with his two terrific daughters, Avery and Colbie. The golf bug hasn’t left him either, as he loves to get up at the crack of dawn for an early morning tee time whenever he can.
Division Manager, Technology
Saja joined the Headfarmer team in January 2019 bringing with her proven experience in both technical recruitment and relationship management, with a high-level customer service. Saja’s ability to cultivate new relationships and collaborate with leaders throughout any organization aligns perfectly to the Headfarmer mission of service and helping professionals connect and grow!
Saja holds a Bachelor degree in Management Information Systems and an MBA in Human Resource Management and Innovative Behavior. She is also fluent in Arabic and Korean. When not dedicated to her clients and work, Saja enjoys traveling, shopping, and spending time with her family and friends.
Manager, Client Services
Tiffany joined Headfarmer in 2019. She comes to the team with twelve years in the education field. The staffing industry was a natural draw to Tiffany as she loves to make connections and have a positive impact on the lives of others. Focusing on business development and client support she travels around the valley identifying the needs of our valued clients in both the consulting and direct hire space.
Tiffany is originally from Dallas, Texas, and has lived all throughout the state, a true Texan at heart! Tiffany moved west to attend Arizona State University where she majored in Secondary Education with and emphasis in English. Outside of academics she served as a Devils’ Advocate, Recruitment Chairman of Pi Beta Phi, and managed group tours for ASU Athletics. She went on to pursue a fulfilling career in education where she taught honors English, directed the AVID college preparatory program, and coached soccer, cheerleading, and cross country. With a desire to try something new and put her excellent relationship management skills to work, she joined the recruiting industry!
Outside of work, Tiffany is very active with her three children who keep her entertained and having fun. Together they enjoy playing sports, traveling, hanging by the pool, and always love movie nights. In her free time, she enjoys arts and crafts, hiking, and yoga.
Samuel joined the Headfarmer team in May 2018 bringing with him proven professional experience with high customer service and relationship management. While Samuel is new to the recruiting industry his experience in both banking and project management, along with his dynamic personality will serve him well within the Headfarmer team!
Samuel holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from our local Grand Canyon University with emphasis in Business Management. When not providing superior service to our clients and candidates, Samuel enjoys traveling all over the United States and spending time with loved ones and friends.
Executive Recruiter, Finance
Allison Davie has been with headfarmer since May of 2014. She was attracted to recruiting because she wanted the opportunity to make an impact in others’ lives. She gets that at headfarmer! With an emphasis on the permanent placement of Finance and Accounting professionals, her focus is on building relationships so that as clients’ staffing needs arise, she can present top talent.
She is originally from Indiana and went to school at Baylor University in Texas, majoring in Finance and Sports, Sponsorship, and Sales. Allison has a varied working background. Most recently as a Strategic Forecast Analyst at US Airways, she worked to identify flight data trends in order to better forecast passenger demand for future flights. Prior to that, she worked as an Account Executive at the Phoenix Suns, selling premium seats, suites, and season tickets, with a primary focus in coordinating group events through the sale of group tickets.
Outside of the office, Allison loves to get out and enjoy the sunshine, riding beach cruisers around Central Phoenix. She loves to travel, no matter if it’s a quick weekend camping trip, across the Atlantic, or to visit family. All that said, her favorite activities are singing, reading a good book, and hanging out with her husband, Ian.
Manager, Client Services Technology
Derek Eligio joined Headfarmer in September 2019. Derek was born and raised in Orange County, California and attended the University of California Santa Barbara. There he majored in Sociology and received a minor in Sports Management while playing baseball for the university.
In 2012, Derek moved to Arizona where he started his career in sales, eventually forming and managing his own sales and marketing business from 2015 to 2018. His proven success in both developing relationships, and account management is a welcome talent that compliments our growing organization.
Jacob Merkley is an accounting professional with 8+ years in various accounting roles. Highlights include working as an Accountant for GameStop in their Tech Brands Division, and as a staff accountant for a PEO company while going to school in Utah. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
After spending 18 months building his own business, Jacob jumped into recruiting for the awesome opportunity to help quality candidates find new employment with great companies. Giving back to the economy and “making friends” has become a motto he follows daily.
Outside of work, Jacob serves as the VP of Finance for Operation Safe Haven, a non-profit focused on empowering individuals around the world through building vocational schools and safe homes.
Jacob is an Arizona native, but has spent time in Florida, Alabama, and Utah. He met his wife in the elevator at school. Now, their family includes two beautiful daughters. A lover of everything outdoors, you can find Jacob spending his off time backpacking in Colorado, catching some air on his snowboard, or at the lake with his family.
Assistant Manager of Accounting/Operations
A newbie to headfarmer, but certainly not a newbie to numbers game, Pinal brings half a dozen years of accounting experience to the table. She holds Bachelors in Accounting and a Master’s in Business Administration. Having worked as an accountant in diverse fields ranging from financial services to health, Pinal has obtained an excellent grasp on A/P, A/R, and financial reconciliations.
Born in the land of spices (India) and raised in diner capital of the world (New Jersey), it is no wonder Pinal is an avid cook. During weekends she indulges in the culinary arts along with her tech geek better half, Shreyas, who can match her stride to stride in the kitchen.
Vice President of Finance & Operations
Amanda has been with Headfarmer since its inception and brings with her an extensive background in Accounting, Finance and Treasury Management. As her career and responsibilities grew, she found new professional opportunities that took her career path into Organizational Change Management, Public Relations and Operations. She enjoys the agility and dynamics of the staffing industry and demonstrates through her daily activities the importance of Community and Acts of Service. In her free time Amanda is dedicated to supporting her husband, their two children, school activities, including fundraising for the parent teacher organization, and service to other local non-profit organizations within our community.
Bianca is a dedicated Arizona native! Being new on board with headfarmer, she brings extensive experience in customer service. She has worked the past four years as a manager of a local gym and knows what it take to get the job done right. Bianca really has a passion for helping people. When Headfarmer had an open position, she knew that was the company she wanted to be a part of.
Outside of the office, Bianca loves to stay active outdoors whether it’s hiking or staying cool by the pool. She is currently perusing her bachelor’s degree while learning all she can at headfarmer!
Elizabeth came to the Headfarmer team in December 2017 looking for an opportunity to use her customer service skills and love for helping others. She’s found that at Headfarmer! New to the industry, she is eager to make connections and learn as much as she can!
Arizona native, Elizabeth is currently working on her bachelor’s degree in marketing, looking to graduate from Arizona State University in 2019. Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys trying out local restaurants, spending time with family, her better half ‘Kevin’ and their two fur babies.
